Dimitrov lost to Ferrer in Cincinnati
Despite giving a great performance yesterday in Cincinnati, Dimitrov lost to David Ferrer 4:6, 6:1, 7:5 after 2 hours and 23 minutes of play. Ferrer was just coming back from a wrist injury and was a little rusty, especially in the first set, when Grigor had an early break for 4:1. However, the Spaniard started to find the range in the second set and fought off all three of Dimitrov’s break points. Ferrer had also three break points, the last at 5:1 to win the set.

First win for Grigor at Cincinnati.
Grigor Dimitrov defeated his opponent in the first round of the Cincinnati Masters Marsel Ilhan /Turkey/ 6:3, 7:5. Dimitrov won two break points – one in the 6th game of the first det and one in the 11th game of the second set, which led to his success.

Dimitrov dropped out of the tournament in Washington.
Grigor Dimitrov lost to the Serbian Janko Tipsarević in the 3rd round in Washigton. Because of the rain Grigor had to play two matches within a few hours. The scandal is growing
The scandal around Grigor Dimitrov is growing. All world media reported Grigor’s behavior at the tournament in Helsinki, where he was rude to the umpire and pushed him of his chair. General view is that his behavior was totally unacceptable. However, it is still not known whether he will be punished more severely.
A journalist from the popular site Tennistalk Ricky Dimon even called Grigor “an idiot” on his Twitter account.
The Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov, who is close to Grigor, asked the journalist not to make such qualifications: “Funny how a reporter can offend a tennis player and nobody complains about that.”
