Bulgaria’s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov lost to Jarkko Nieminen /Finland/ for the second time in a week. Nieminen, ATP Rank 120, easily defeated Dimitrov in the First Round of the If Stockholm Open tournament in Sweden 6:0, 6:2. The match lasted 50 minutes and will be remembered not so much for Nieminen’s play, but for Dimitrov’s many errors.
Dimitrov lost to Nieminen in the First Round at the Challenger in Kolding, Denmark too, but he managed to win a set in this match with a result 2:6, 7:6, 2:6. Dimitrov was granted wild card for the If Stockholm Open /prize money 600 000 €/, but sadly leaves the tournament early and with no points for the ATP Rank List.
