First win for Grigor at Cincinnati.

Grigor Dimitrov defeated his opponent in the first round of the Cincinnati Masters Marsel Ilhan /Turkey/ 6:3, 7:5. Dimitrov won two break points – one in the 6th game of the first det and one in the 11th game of the second set, which led to his success. Reaching the second round of the tournament, Dimitrov gained 45 ranking points and $17 040. His opponent for the second round is David Ferrer /Spain/, world’s No. 6 and Seed 5 in the tournament. Both players have never met on court before.

Dimitrov will play against Marsel İlhan at Cincinnati Masters

Grigor Dimitrov received a wild card for the main draw of the ATP Masters in Cincinnati, Ohio. His oponent in the first round will be 24-year old Marsel İlhan from Turkey. At the moment he is #109, his best ever ranking was #87. Ilhan, same as Dimitrov, has never won an ATP title. Both players have never met on court before.
