Dimitrov/Gabashvili reached the Semi-finals in Slovakia
Grigor Dimitrov and his partner Teimuraz Gabashvili reached the Semi-finals at the Challenger event in Trnava, Slovakia. The Bulgarian-Russian pair didn’t have any problems defeating Dominik Hrbaty/Martin Kližan /both from Slovakia/ 6-2, 6-2.
Dimitrov and Gabashvili won the first five games and took the first set only in 26 minutes. The Bulgarian-Russian pair once again secured an early break in the second set, taking a 3-1 lead. Than they broke their opponents’ serve in the 8th game to win the last 3 games and the match.
Dimitrov and Gabashvili gained 29 points for the ATP Doubles Rank List and won 690 EUR each. Tomorrow, at the Semi-final they will play against Seed #1 Sergei Bubka and Sergiy Stakhovsky /both from Ukraine/. The match is third in a row at the Central Court, as the first match starts 11:00 CET.

Grigor Dimitrov lost in the Second Round of the Trnava Challenger
Grigor Dimitrov lost in the Second Round of the Trnava Challenger in Slovakia with prize money 64 000 EUR. The young bulgarian tennis player was defeated by Jan Hajek /Czech Republic/ 3:6, 4:6 within 66 minutes of play. Hajek is Seed #3 of the main draw and #120 of the ATP Rank List. Dimitrov was able to gain only 8 points for the ATP Rank List and won 1100 EUR from this tournament.
Dimitrov had a bad start in the first set and he allowed his opponent to win two break points of his serve. The Bulgarian managed to get one break back, but Hajek kept the lead to the end of the set. The second set started equal and the result went point for point, but Hajek broke Dimitrov’s serve again and that assured him the victory.
