Grigor Dimitrov granted with wildcard for US OPEN 2009

Bulgaria’s first racket Grigor Dimitrov was oficially granted a wildcard entry to the qualifications of the last Grand Slam tournament for this year – US Open. The 18-year-old tennis player from Bulgaria is being granted the wild card for winning the US Open Junior last year. The Qualifications for US Open 2009 will take place August 25 – 28 and the main draw matches officially start August 31.

The tennis players who are granted a wildcard entry to the main draw are: Devin Britton (Jackson, Miss.), Taylor Dent(Newport Beach, Calif.), Chase Buchanan (New Albany, Ohio), Brendan Evans (Key Biscayne, Fla.), Jesse Levine (Boca Raton, Fla.), Rajeev Ram (Carmel, Ind.), Chris Guccione (Australia) and Michael Llodra (France).
